Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

2 Tbsp all-purpose flour

3 Tbsp olive oil

2 Tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 green onions, sliced

1/3 cup honey

2 Tbsp soy sauce

1 Tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp sriracha (optional)

2 tsp toasted sesame oil

1 Tbsp cornstarch


Instructions

1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

2. Toss chicken with flour until evenly coated.

3. Heat 2 Tbsp olive oil in skillet. Sear half the chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

4. Repeat with remaining chicken and 1 Tbsp oil.

5. Reduce heat. Add butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

6. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, vinegar, sriracha, sesame oil, and cornstarch.

7. Pour sauce into skillet, scraping browned bits. Simmer to thicken.

8. Return chicken to skillet. Stir until fully coated in sauce.

9. Top with sliced green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Serve over rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps.

Swap chicken with tofu or cauliflower for a vegetarian twist.
