Description
This easy virgin strawberry margarita is the ultimate summer mocktail—bright, fizzy, and full of fresh berry flavor. Perfect for all ages and completely alcohol-free.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh or frozen strawberries, washed and sliced
- 1/3 cup filtered water
- Juice of 2 limes (about 4 tbsp)
- 32 ounces lime or plain seltzer
- 2 cups crushed ice
- Optional: 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup
Instructions
- Add strawberries and water to a medium pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 15 minutes.
- Let cool, then puree until smooth. Chill for 1 hour.
- To serve, fill glasses with crushed ice and 1/3 cup strawberry puree.
- Add 1 tbsp lime juice to each glass.
- Top with 8 oz of seltzer and optional sweetener.
- Stir gently. Garnish with lime slices or strawberries and serve!
Notes
Use frozen strawberries for a slushier texture.
Muddle fresh herbs like mint or basil for extra flavor.
Store strawberry puree in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for later.
Wait to add seltzer until serving for best fizz.
