Description

A viral, no-bake dessert made with strawberries, pistachio butter, melted chocolate, and crispy kataifi—layered into elegant dessert cups.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 oz kataifi dough, chopped
  • 1 cup pistachio butter or pistachio cream
  • 2 tbsp tahini (optional)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1.5 lbs strawberries, halved
  • Ground pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add kataifi dough and toast for about 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Turn off the heat and mix in the pistachio butter and tahini. Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan.
  • Microwave chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • In clear 12 oz cups, add 8 strawberry halves to the bottom of each. Drizzle with 2 tbsp melted chocolate.
  • Spoon 3 tbsp of the kataifi-pistachio mixture on top. Repeat another layer of strawberries and kataifi filling.
  • Drizzle with more melted chocolate and top with crushed pistachios.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

Notes

Best served within 48 hours for peak texture and color.

Store covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Do not freeze—strawberries may become too soft and release water.
